Football fever grips Ranbir Kapoor and Armaan Jain

With the football fever catching up, we hear that Bollywood’s youngest entrant Armaan Jain comes together with brother and actor Ranbir Kapoor to celebrate the game of football. Armaan is the grandson of one the finest actors of Indian cinema, Raj Kapoor. As everyone is aware that Ranbir is a football lover and a big fan of FIFA. Imtiaz Ali who is an avid football lover has bought together friend and actor Ranbir Kapoor with Armaan to celebrate the football fever. Armaan who makes his Bollywood debut in Illuminati Films and Eros’ Lekar Hum Deewana Dil which is set to release on 4th July is again a crazy football fanatic. As both the actors are football lovers, they played a friendly football evening which also has Arif Ali, the debutant director of Lekar Hum Deewana Dil and his brother Imtiaz Ali as a part of the football team.

The match was played between Armaan and Ranbir's team, where Armaan's team included Deeksha and Arif Ali, and Ranbir's team had Imitaiz Ali and his daughter. It was quite an interesting match as both the teams were playing neck to neck. All the team players had a crazy game time.

Not just Ranbir and the Kapoor khandaan, but Salman Khan also saw a star in Armaan. Salman and Armaan have been in touch since a very long time!! Not many are aware that Salman Khan's mother and Armaan's grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor are fast friends and also play cards together! Thus their children Salma Khan's son Salman and Krishna Raj's daughter Reema Jain, have been friends for a long time. While Armaan is the second youngest grandson, it was Salman who first saw Armaan at Riddhima's (Ranbir Kapoor's sister) sangeet and said that he too would be a star. Remembering the incident, Armaan said, “I was practicing along with my brother Aadar and my friends for Riddhima Di's sangeet, where Salman bhai was also there chilling out with us. I was really fat and must have been close to 100 kilos then. He was first watching us and then even joined us, teaching us his steps for the song O O Jaane Jaana, on which we had been practicing. After practicing at Rishi uncle's house, we all moved to Salman's house where we continued our party. At that time, Ranbir was debuting in films and the media asked Salman about it and he said, `Mashallah!

What we hear is, when the director Arif Ali completed his script, he was on the look for a lead actor. While casually talking about the lead character to one of his friends in the industry, they instantly suggested that Armaan could fill in the shoes of this character. Arif Ali then spoke to Ranbir Kapoor about the character and asked him to pass on Armaan's contact details to him, so as to meet with him. Ranbir was in total agreement about the character closely being like Armaan and passed on his details.
