Saddening as it is, Sushant Singh Rajput and Anikita Lokhande seem to have parted ways after being together for six long years. While reports have been citing that Sushant has called it quits following his success, a source close to the estranged couple revealed otherwise in an interview with Mumbai Mirror. Reportedly, Ankita’s past experiences had made her very insecure about this relationship and she constantly worried that it wouldn’t work out. The friend further stated in the same interview that Sushant did his best to reassure her by giving her details of his shoot schedule and inviting her to drop by anytime. According to the report, despite all of Sushant’s efforts, Ankita admitted that she couldn’t control her fears and eventually Sushant started reacting differently. The source was further quoted saying, “Ankita admitted she wasn't happy. It broke her heart, and his too, but there's little they could do about it.”
