Here's how Prabhas expressed gratitude as 'Baahubali 2' completes one year

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus films ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Baahubali 2’ not only won a million hearts but broke all box office records around the world. From the stupendous cast to the hardwork that went down in creating the huge sets and visual effects, regional cinema had created a new level for filmmakers.

‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas took to his Facebook to express gratitude as ‘Baahubali 2’ clocks one year today. He wrote, “Our film, Baahubali 2 completes 1 year today... This day will always remain special to me. A big hug to all my fans and lots of love back to you all. Thank you for being part of this beautiful and emotional journey of mine. Congratulations and immense gratitude to SS Rajamouli and the entire team.”

The official Twitter page of ‘Baahubali’ also posted a tweet about the one glorious year they have had and said, “it makes clear that #Baahubali2 isn't just a film.It's a vision that was brought to life by everyone who has supported us from the start, and everyone who continues to shower us with love! Jai Maahishmati #1YearForTheIndianEpicBaahubali2.”

In other news, Prabhas is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Saaho’ which also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role.

Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? SS Rajamouli has 4 reasons

Director SS Rajamouli broke all box office records with his 2015 blockbuster ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’. The epic war drama not only gained a lot of traction in India but also around the world. However, it left many fans guessing why Kattappa killed Bahubali. Going by reports on Friday, the director has drawn up four reasons for the shocking climax. According to reports, Rajamouli also didn’t know why he killed off his hero, and has now kept four possible reasons ready and hopes to narrow down on one before the shoot wraps up. The report further claims that only three people from the entire cast - the director, actor Prabhas and the writer - know the answers. Early this year, Rajamouli joked that Kattappa killed Bahubali because he asked him to. The first look of the film will be released on Prabhas’ birthday on October 23. The film that stars Tamannaah and Rana Daggubati hits theatres in 2017.

‘Baahubali 2’ to have the costliest climax ever shot?

SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ may have been one of the most extravagant projects the world has ever seen, but the director is all set to turn that up even higher with its sequel. Latest buzz suggests that the ace-filmmaker is busy with the climax of ‘Baahubali 2’ to be shot over the span of two weeks starting today. The climax will reportedly cost a whopping Rs 30 crore which is double the amount of its prequel’s climax shoot. A source close to the project revealed that the audience loved the entire war sequence, so for the sequel, the makers have decided to make it bigger and grander and take it many notches higher than its prequel. Even actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati are giving their all to stay in shape for the sequence. The cast and crew of the film took a long summer break after a grilling schedule some months back. Finally! S S Rajamouli reveals why Katappa killed Baahubali!

The wait for 'Baahubali - The Conclusion' is getting longer and longer. Some time back, it was revealed that the film will now release on April 14, 2017. Therefore, we will have to wait for a year before the million dollar question is answered - Why Katappa killed Baahubali? However, the brain behind the magnum opus, S S Rajamouli, has finally answered the question. In a YouTube interview posted by a leading production house, the maker, when presented with the question, said in a very jovial way that Katappa killed Baahubali because he asked him to do so. Well, that was smartly done Mr Rajamouli. Guess we actually will have to wait for another year.

Director S S Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali: The Beginning went on to become the highest grossing Indian film ever by earning an unthinkable sum of Rs 600 crore. But nobody knew as to how much Rajamouli and the film’s lead actor Prabhas earned. While there were speculations about it, there were no concrete reports. However, the director and actor have appeared on the 2015 Forbes India Celebrity List where its mentioned that the Rajamouli and Prabhas have received Rs 26 crore and Rs 20 crore respectively, as reported by DNA. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, Baahubali: The Beginning, was one of the best films to have released in 2015. The film set new benchmarks for films with visual appeal. It will also be remembered for its spectacular war sequences. However, as surprising as it may sound, the cinematographer of the film, KK Senthil Kumar, recently said that he wasn’t happy with the quality of the CGI (Computer Graphics Image) used in the film. He went on to say that he is disappointed as there are major issues in a number of sequences that make the CGI appear fake. He adds that they are trying to rectify these issues in the second part of the movie.

The sets of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster Baahubali were a complete visual delight! Now, the same sets will reportedly be recreated. However, this time it will apparently be for the wedding of Kerala’s business tycoon, Ravi Pillai’s daughter, Dr Arathi Pillai, who will be tying the knot with Dr Adhitya Vishnu. According to a DNA report, Sabu Cyril, the person responsible for the sets, will apparently be at the helm of affairs again to recreate the set that was reportedly worth Rs 20 crore. While the sets in Baahubali spanned five acres, this one will be spread over eight acres. But this is not all. Reportedly, actresses Shobana and Manju Warrier have also been roped in to perform at the grand event. The entire wedding will apparently cost a whopping Rs 55 crore.

However, the actor’s uncle Krishnam Raju has cleared the confusion and stated that Prabhas is currently preparing for his role in Baahubali 2 and marriage is certainly not on the cards right now, as per a report on Bollywoodlife.com. Baahubali - The Beginning has been a great success both in terms of critical acclaim and box-office numbers. The film continues to cast a spell at the theatres.
