Actors who can play Narendra Modi onscreen

Narendra Modi has earned his way to be the Prime Minister of India. And Bollywood too is banking on the powerful man. Reportedly, Rupesh Paul is all set to make a film inspired by the life of Narendra Modi and the director is planning to cast Victor Banerjee in the role of the politician. According to a report in Hindustan Times, Rupesh Paul felt that the presence of Victor Banerjee and his international profile will help the film penetrate the foreign market. Another filmmaker, Madhur Bhandarkar too is reportedly planning to make a film on Narendra Modi. The filmmaker is known to make movies out of realistic subjects, and it would be interesting to see who would play the Prime Minister onscreen.

Paresh Rawal will win a lot of brownie points if he was to play the character of Narendra Modi in movies. Paresh Rawal has become an active politician from Gujarat as he won a seat in the recent elections. The funny actor was contesting elections from Gujarat on a BJP ticket. With Paresh Rawal on board, he wouldn't have to work on the Gujrati persona and accent. With a little bit of beard and a pair of specs, Paresh Rawal could well be the politician of Hindi cinema. Paresh Rawal is also known to be close to Narendra Modi and maybe that could help the actor prep for the job.
