It’s been 10 years since the first installment of action thriller launched by Yash Raj Films Dhoom was released. Filled with high-packed drama, bike stunts, some foot-tapping music and daring theft plans, these Dhoom films are very entertaining. On its 10th anniversary, let us check out reasons that make Dhoom films very popular.

Hunks: Be it the Greek God Hrithik Roshan or the handsome Aamir Khan, be it the sexy biker John Abraham or the dashing cop Abhishek Bachchan, Dhoom series boasts of the best looking men in the industry. It is difficult to decide if girls went gaga over John’s body or Hrithik’s good looks. But the fact that the makers have roped in the hottest men of the industry and got them to play negative characters make it a good reason for us to watch Dhoom series. In fact, in an interview Aamir had admitted that his role in Dhoom 3 is the most difficult one he's played in his career as he had to learn ballet, aerobatics and the French technique of parkour.

Babes: If girls can swoon over Hrithik Roshan or John Abraham, then guys get a chance to drool over the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai, the sultry Bipasha Basu and the sexy Katrina Kaif. Dhoom series boasts of gorgeous, A-grade actresses in a never-seen-before avatars. In fact, Esha Deol, who was a part of the first film, has also looked her best in the movie. While Katrina learned ballet, acrobatics and even took paragliding training for Dhoom 3, Bipasha and Aishwarya worked magic with their moves and pouts.

Dostana: The dostana between Abhishek Bachchan (who plays the role of cop ACP Jai Dixit) and his sidekick and assistant Ali Akbar Fateh, played by Uday Chopra, is one of the most entertaining aspects of the movie. While Abhiskek is smart and serious, Uday is goofy, naughty and flirtatious. They share a great onscreen rapport and their scenes together are one of the USPs of the movie.

Songs: Dhoom Dhoom, the title track of Dhoom movie sung by pop singer Tata Young, became a rage among youngsters. Aamir claims he is the hero of Dhoom 3.Abhishek claims he is the hero of Dhoom 3.But the actual hero is the common man who spends Rs 900 to watch the movie.

Chase: Full credit has to be given to Abhishek Bachchan who plays the role of a cop to utmost perfection. He is fast, clever and gives the dashing thieves a run for their money. He gives them a tough time every time they are trying to escape him and manages to catch them. Be it bike chase or mind games, Dhoom series has it all.
