All set to don the director’s hat, Karan Johar was to call the shots for his opus venture 'Takht'. The period drama features an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in pivotal roles. The film was scheduled to go on floors but has been reportedly postponed indefinitely due to the lockdown.
Ranveer Singh will be seen essaying the role of Dara Shikoh in the film, while Vicky plays Aurangzeb. ‘Takht’ was reportedly scheduled to hit the screens in December 2021, however it remains to be seen when the film will make it to theatres.
