On Thursday morning, the news of Anunay Sood’s demise left everyone in a state of profound grief and shock. He was a popular Dubai-based travel influencer who breathed his last at the age of 32 in Las Vegas. The news was confirmed by his family, but the cause of death is unknown.

Who was Anunay Sood?

With a following of 1.4 million on Instagram and 3.8 lakh subscribers on YouTube, Anunay was one of the most renowned travel influencers. He used drone photography and stunning visuals for his content, which presented a perfect blend of scenic beauty and adventure. During his career span, he joined hands with the leading global tourism brands.




He featured in Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars list for three consecutive years—2022, 2023, and 2024. He was described as a Dubai-based photographer who started his journey in the field by documenting his travels on Instagram. Later, he also ran a marketing firm.

According to Live Mint, Anunay’s journey began with a naive and silly attempt at a vlog in Spiti. He tried only seven times to reach ‘paradise’. His initial vlogs include his visit to Chandrataal, which offered him an experience of a lifetime. He made his way through knee-deep snow in simple canvas shoes. The journey thus started made him reach new heights.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Anunay Sood completed his high school from Delhi Public School, Noida. Later, he pursued an engineering degree in Automobile and Automotive Mechanics Technology and graduated from Amity University, Noida.
