When Sonakshi trolled a “creep”

Sonakshi Sinha is a bit of a pro at speaking her mind, especially when it comes to body-shaming trolls she encounters online. The actress was in the middle of a Twitter interaction with fans recently, when a certain Parteek Goyal quizzed her, “When are u showing us your body? When will you wear a bikini?” to which, Sona was quick to retort, saying, “Ask your mum or sis the same question you creep. Let me know what they say!”

The 28-year-old actress firmly believes that it’s important to call out people who make vulgar comments rather than ignore them.“People need to understand online etiquette. Why do they think they can say things that are considered out of line in real life, on the Internet? If someone had said that to me to my face, I would have slapped them. My answer to this guy was my way of slapping him online. Men like this need to be taught a lesson or two in respecting women,” Sona fumes, adding that she feels actresses are a soft target because fans don’t know where to draw the line.
“People think they can say anything behind the veil of anonymity. It’s one thing to admire someone, and another to be cheap about it,” she signs off.
