Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last on February 6, Sunday. She was admitted to a city hospital in Mumbai after she tested positive for Covid-19. She was also diagnosed with pneumonia. Recently, we stumbled upon an old interview of Lata ji and it will leave you teary-eyed.
Back in 2018, the legendary singer had rubbished rumours of her retirement. She had firmly said that she will continue to sing till her last breath.
In an interaction with Indian Express, Lata Mangeshkar had said that she will continue to sing till her last breath and music is the essence of her existence. She further added that the Mangeshkar family is devoted to music. If you take music away from their lives and they are nothing.

hospital. Her mortal remains were first taken to her Pedder Road residence

for her multitude of fans to pay their respect before the funeral at Shivaji Park around 6.30 pm.
Considered one of the greatest playback singers in Indian cinema, Mangeshkar received several film awards and honours like Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Dada Saheb Phalke Award, and multiple National Film Awards.
