Bombay Velvet (2015)

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Bombay Velvet was one of the most expensive films made at the time but failed miserably at the box office. Despite a star cast including Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, the movie’s slow pace and confusing narrative left audiences disappointed, leading to huge financial losses.

2/5

Himmatwala (2013)

A remake of the 1983 hit, starring Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah, Himmatwala bombed due to outdated storytelling and poor direction. The film failed to impress the new generation and was heavily criticized by both critics and audiences.

3/5

Joker (2012)

Starring Akshay Kumar, Joker was a comedy-drama that failed to connect with the audience. The film’s quirky tone and storyline were not well-received, resulting in a commercial failure despite the star power.

4/5

Raavan (2010)

Starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, Raavan was a high-profile project by Mani Ratnam. However, the film's complex storyline and lack of mass appeal caused it to flop commercially, despite critical appreciation in some quarters.

5/5

Thugs of Hindostan (2018)

Featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, Thugs of Hindostan had enormous hype before release but was slammed for its weak script and poor execution. It became one of the biggest box office disasters of its time, failing to meet the huge expectations.
