'The Kashmir Files'

Vivek Agnihotri’s 'The Kashmir Files' shattered box office expectations. Made on a modest budget of Rs 15 crore, the film drew massive crowds purely through word of mouth. By Day 12, it earned Rs 10.12 crore, taking its total collection to Rs 190.10 crore. The film, released on March 11, highlights the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus during the 1990 insurgency. It features Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi.

'Vicky Donor'

Ayushmann Khurrana’s debut film 'Vicky Donor' was produced on a budget of Rs 15 crore and went on to earn Rs 66.32 crore worldwide. The film was widely praised for its refreshing take on sperm donation and infertility. It became a surprising commercial winner with strong word-of-mouth reviews. The film also starred Yami Gautam.

Made on a limited budget of Rs 5 crore, 'A Wednesday' earned Rs 30 crore domestically and around Rs 340 million internationally.
