Cricket star Virat Kohli has been named India's most valuable celebrity in the first-ever Fortune India-Interbrand Most Valuable Celebrities list. Kohli tops the rankings with a brand value of Rs 3,542 crore.
The list, released by Fortune India in partnership with global brand consultancy Interbrand, measures celebrity brand value based on factors such as engagement, trust, affinity, distinctiveness and overall influence.
The top 10 most valuable celebrities on the list are Virat Kohli, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, MS Dhoni, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Alia Bhatt and Allu Arjun.
The report also highlighted his focus on health and fitness-related endorsements, which has strengthened consumer trust in his brand.
The study noted that Shah Rukh's long association with brands, including his 25-year partnership with Hyundai, has made him one of India's most trusted celebrity endorsers.
Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas ranked third with a brand value of Rs 2,507 crore. The report credited her success to her work as an actor, entrepreneur, investor and producer, along with her growing international presence.
Actor Ranveer Singh ranks fifth with a brand value of Rs 2,077 crore, while Akshay Kumar is sixth with a brand value of Rs 2,064 crore. The report noted that despite recent box-office disappointments, Akshay continues to enjoy strong brand trust.
Veteran superstar Amitabh Bachchan secured the seventh spot with a brand value of Rs 1,933 crore.
Alia Bhatt is the only woman in the top 10 apart from Priyanka Chopra. She ranks ninth with a brand value of Rs 1,606 crore.
At No. 10 is Allu Arjun with a brand value of Rs 1,522 crore. The Pushpa star scored highly on fan engagement, affinity and brand distinctiveness, making him one of the fastest-growing celebrity brands in India.

Former India captain MS Dhoni is fourth on the list with a brand value of Rs 2,141 crore.
