Vidya Balan hails Tabu’s effortless performance as Manjulika in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'

The excitement for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' is building, especially with Vidya Balan returning as Manjulika after 17 years. The film features a much-anticipated dance-off between Vidya and Madhuri Dixit. Producer Bhushan Kumar shared that they had initially approached Vidya for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', but she declined, leading to Tabu being cast instead.

In an interview with News18, Vidya expressed her admiration for Tabu, who starred in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. Although Vidya wasn't part of the sequel, she praised Tabu, stating, "I love Tabu" and noted that she hadn't spoken to her since the film. Vidya recalled watching Tabu in 'Maachis' and 'Astitva', describing her as someone who flows effortlessly into any role. She remarked that Tabu makes everything seem as easy as "sipping water," highlighting her remarkable talent and versatility.



Balan further expressed her thoughts on 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', stating that she found it to be a good, fun film. When approached for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', she was excited about the fantastic script and the great role she was offered. Vidya noted that it was the same team behind the film, which made her feel ready to take on the project.
