Vidushi: She acts at home too...
At a recent art event in the city, we met Vidushi Mehra. After she greeted many of her friends, and had chatted with some of them, we got around to talking to her. That’s when she told us that she’s busy these days. Doing what, we asked. “Theatre,” said the lady.
She will be seen in a Bollywood flick again, and quite soon at that (remember her stint in “Aisha”?) It’s a serious one, she told us, one that has a message, but you know, she can’t divulge any more details.

But she warmed up to telling us about acting in plays – something she has taken a fancy to of late. “Both the mediums are totally different. But if I ever had to choose, I will pick theatre any day,” said Vidushi.
As hubby Nikhil was standing next to her, we asked him what he likes more – Vidushi’s acting on the big screen or on the stage. And his witty rejoinder was, “Well, you see, she acts at home too.”
That made his better half burst into laughter. But his joke continued, “An actor is always acting. He never stops. I remember when I met Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of “Bigg Boss” sometime back, I never got to meet the real him, he was acting even when off the camera. My wife is no different. She’s acting all the time, everywhere, so I don’t have much choice!”
