Love was in the air in 2019 as Bollywood couples like Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar and Varun Dhawan-Natasha Dalal doled out massive couple goals. 2020 looked like the year for weddings as couples were rumoured to take the big plunge in their relationship. Bollywood was looking forward to some grand nuptials this year. However with the pandemic forcing people into lockdown, wedding plans of 2020 have been affected. It took some time but Varun Dhawan finally made his relationship public with Natasha Dalal a couple of years back and since then, wedding speculations refuse to die down. The couple was reportedly planning to tie the knot in a glamorous destination wedding in Thailand but with the Covid-19 health scare, Varun-Natasha’s wedding was put on hold. According to a news portal, Varun and Natasha have postponed their wedding to November 2020.

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are all about goals and their social media PDA perfectly spells their romantic bond. The couple is spending lockdown time together and last year on a chat show when Farhan was asked about the wedding rumours he had said, “In April we May", leading to speculations that the couple is all set to get hitched in April 2020. We are already in May and there’s not wedding happening as yet. In the meantime, Farhan and Shibani continue to dole out relationship goals on social media.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal were all set to tie the knot in April and had also booked a date for registration. However following the health scare, the couple decided to shift their nuptials. “Given the current scenario and the unfortunate turn of events owing to the COVID-19 pandemic globally, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have decided to postpone their wedding functions to the later half of 2020 tentatively. They wish for everyone to be healthy and safe and at no cost would want their friends, families and well-wishers to be affected,” the couple’s spokesperson had shared in a statement.

Amy Jackson is busy enjoying the bliss of motherhood; she and fiancé George Panayiotou welcomed their son Andreas in September 2019. Reports suggested that the couple was all set to tie the knot in early 2020. A grand beach-side wedding in Greece was being planned by Amy and George but seems like the nuptials will have to wait for the pandemic to end.
