Urvashi Rautela didn’t copy-paste ‘Parasite’ review tweet, it was her social media team

Urvashi Rautela recently found herself in a controversy when she posted a Tweet about Oscar winning film ‘Parasite’. The post had been copied from New York-based author JP Brammer. However, Urvashi’s spokesperson clarified to a news portal that the actress was unaware of the Tweet, which was shared by her social media team. Once they came across it, necessary steps were taken.


Urvashi’s tweet read, “One thing I really love about @ParasiteMovie is that rather than depict the fam as scammers pretending to be good at their jobs, they actually do their jobs flawlessly! what they lack isn’t skill, but institutional stamps of approval & the bows and ribbons that rich people love.” JP Brammer had noticed the similarity of the Tweets after a user shared it, replying to it the renowned writer shared, "I'm rooting for her".

Urvashi later deleted the tweet and Brammer went on to post how he has started getting news followers because of this controversy.
