The latest to fall victim to death hoaxes is none other than the veteran director,
Mahesh Bhatt. And it all reportedly started when CINTAA, a film association, shared a news of a member's demise. His name was Mahesh Damodar Bhatt, which instantly led to people mixing it up with the filmmaker.
The news went viral, however, actress-filmmaker
Pooja Bhatt was quick to nix the rumours with a witty post on social media.
She shared a pictures of Bhatt looking hale and hearty. It was accompanied by a witty caption by her, which read as: "To the rumour mongers and the ones who called in a genuine state of panic upon hearing that my father Mahesh Bhatt had a heart attack and is dead, here is ample proof that he is his usual self, living dangerously and kicking! In red shoes no less! This one ain't going nowhere in a hurry and will hopefully survive us all!"
Bhatt is currently shooting his upcoming film 'Sadak 2', along with daughters, Pooja and Alia Bhatt. The film is a sequel Bhatt's 1991 cult film 'Sadak'. While the sequel has Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt reprising their characters, the new addition to the cast is Alia and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is touted to be the film with which Bhatt returns to direction after 20 years.
