'The Kashmir Files' director Vivek Agnihotri buys an apartment in Mumbai for Rs 17.92 crore
Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri and his actress-wife Pallavi Joshi, who backed the movie 'The Kashmir Files', have jointly bought a premium residential apartment in Versova locality of Mumbai’s Andheri suburb for Rs 17.92 crores.
According to a report, the duo bought the property from the developer of the project Ecstasy Realty. The report further stated that the apartment is on the 30th floor of the building and is spread over a 3,258 sq ft area and comes with three car parking slots.
Reportedly, the director and his wife have paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.07 crore for the registration of the deal. The documents were accessed through Indextap.com. The value of the apartment per sq ft was a little over Rs 55,000.
For the unversed, 'The Kashmir Files' was a huge success at the box office. The movie, which was made with a budget of Rs 15-20 crore, recorded a worldwide collection of over Rs 340 crore.
Starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Chinmay Mandlekar and Bhasha Sumbli, the film was released in March this year.
