‘The Fame Game’, ‘Rocket Boys’ and ‘Raktanchal 2’: Web series to watch out for in February 2022

February promises some great content on streaming platforms. Madhuri Dixit’s debut stint ‘The Fame Game’ will release online while Richa Chadha and Pratik Gandhi’s ‘The Great Indian Murder’ also looks very promising and Jim Sarbh-Ishwak Singh starrer ‘Rocket Boys’ is earning a name for itself – take a look at the most promising web series to watch out for this month.

'Mithya'

Huma Qureshi starrer ‘Mithya’ is also slated for release this month. Directed by Rohan Sippy, this series narrates the story of conflict between a Hindi literature professor, played by Huma and her student Avantika Dassani. This show marks the acting debut of Bhagyashree’s daughter Avantika. This dramatic series is packed with thrilling plot twists. Apart from the two female leads, ‘Mithya’ also features Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Rajit Kapur, and Samir Soni in pivotal roles.

'Raktanchal 2'

MX Player’s original series ‘Raktanchal’ is gearing up for a second successful season. Directed by Ritam Srivastav, the MX Original Series stars Nikitin Dheer, Kranti Prakash Jha, Mahie Gill, Ashish Vidyarthi, Karan Patel and Soundarya Sharma in pivotal roles. Set in Purvanchal, this highly anticipated web series is packed with emotions of deceit and revenge. ‘Raktanchal’ promises power games with new players entering this hinterland story. This 9-episodic political drama is slated for release on MX Player on February 11.

'Rocket Boys'

Apart from thrillers and mysteries, February also has a biographical show packed for the audience. ‘Rocket Boys’ features Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh in the role of Homi J Bhabha and Vikram A Sarabhai respectively. The show recently dropped on the internet and Jim-Ishwak’s performance exploring physics and nuclear energy has impressed many.

'The Fame Game'

Madhuri Dixit will mark her debut on OTT with this thrilling web series, which also stars Sanjay Kapoor and Manav Kaul in pivotal parts. The film narrates the story of a famous Indian actress Anamika, played by Madhuri. She goes missing and the search for her unravels several distressing details about her life and family. Created by Sri Rao, this show promises a good dose of drama, emotions and mystery.

'The Great Indian Murder'

Tigmanshu Dhulia has sprinkled his signature swag in ‘The Great Indian Murder’, which is adapted from ‘Six Suspects. A notorious industrialist is shot dead at his own party. Suraj (Pratik Gandhi), from the Central Bureau of Investigation and Sudha (Richa Chadha) from Delhi Police are tasked with the job of finding the killer. This show also stars Ashutosh Rana, Shashank Arora, Raghubir Yadav and Jatin Goswami in pivotal parts.
