The story of ‘Tadap’

The original Telugu film ‘RX100’ featured a village boy who falls in love with the daughter of a local politician. They get intimate but are separated by their elders and the film narrates their love story which is packed with emotions and a good dose of action. Interestingly, the film’s poster features Ahan in an intense avatar. ‘Tadap’ has also been majorly shot in Mumbai and Mussoorie.

Meet Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria’s characters from ‘Tadap’

Ahead of the shoot, the makers of ‘Tadap’ visited several cinema halls in Mumbai to zero in on one as Ahan’s character in the film runs a movie theatre. The makers finally zeroed in on Mumbai’s Central Plaza theatre, where Ahan will be seen running movie shows. On the other hand, Tara Sutaria will present a totally ‘different side’. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, she had previously said, “Anyone who has watched the Telugu original knows how unconventional the girl’s character is. It’s unlike any love story and people will get to see a different side of me.”

‘Tadap’ is an intriguing love saga

‘Tadap’ is not candyfloss romance. Speaking about the narrative, Milan Luthria had told IANS, “The plot of the film is very intriguing. It is a love saga that will leave the audience surprised. It is a stark love story, with both the leads having strong parts. I have seen Tara and Ahan perform together during the rehearsal workshops and they have immense chemistry.”
