Sushmita Sen-Lalit Modi, Aishwarya Rai-Vivek Oberoi, Sara Ali Khan-Kartik Aaryan: 5 most short-lived romances of B-Town

Bollywood is not just about onscreen romance, but there’s a lot brewing behind the camera too. From co-stars in love to fast moving flings, B-Town is packed with hopeless romantics. While the internet is abuzz with Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi’s break up, take a look at all the short-lived romances of Bollywood.

2/6

Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi

This couple took the internet by storm with Lalit Modi confessing his love for his gorgeous ‘better half’. He left the internet mystified with a series of pictures from their secret getaway in Italy and Sushmita also defended their romance by slamming all those calling her a ‘gold differ’. A few months later, Sushmita’s name has disappeared from Lalit Modi’s Instagram bio and the businessman has also removed their loved-up selfie from his display picture. Speculations are rife that this romance has ended in just a few months.

3/6

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan

Karan Johar had confirmed on his show that Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan were in a relationship. It all began after Sara confessed that she wants to date the actor. ‘Love Aaj Kal’ happened on and offscreen for this couple, who quickly parted ways even before their film could hit the screens! Like true professionals, Sara and Kartik reunited for the film’s promotions but their electrifying chemistry was missing, just like in the films.

4/6

Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra

These two started off in the industry together in 2012 with ‘Student of the Year’. Onscreen love flowed beyond the camera and Alia-Sidharth became the hottest couple in B-Town then. Their romance continued with ‘Kapoor and Sons’ but it all ended with Alia and Sidharth finding love elsewhere. These newbies lasted as a couple for a few years.

5/6

Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi

Having parted ways from Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai found love in her ‘Kyun! Ho Gaya Na...’ co-star Vivek Oberoi. The inseparable couple made numerous public appearances and it looked all very mushy. However, the couple soon parted ways and rumours suggest that Vivek’s press conference leveling allegations against Aishwarya’s ex Salman, landed their romance in trouble.

6/6

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter

Janhvi Kapoor marked a promising debut in Bollywood opposite Ishaan Khatter in ‘Dhadak’. Their onscreen chemistry was shipped by fans and behind the camera love was blossoming between the two Gen Z actors. The film released, was celebrated and done… the two ambitious actors went their own ways for reasons best known to them.
