Sushant Singh Rajput death case: Five revelations that have emerged after CBI took over the investigation

The news of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput being found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14 rattled the entire nation. While the Mumbai Police tried to probe in the case from all angles, they even questioned several people in connection to the actor's demise. But with Sushant's father filing an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and others, the case ultimately was handed over to the CBI by the Supreme Court. And it is since the day CBI stepped in and started with their probe that new shocking revelations in connection to the mysterious death of Sushant have have started cropping up.

The entire nation was left stunned when the 'drugs angle' cropped up in Sushant's mysterious death case. While Times Now shared the revelation made by the Enforcement Directorate, the agency shared the details of the conversation with CBI and NCB as well . The investigating agency has been probing in the case from money laundering angle and has come across Whatsapp chats of Rhea Chakraborty which indicates towards the 'usage and dealing of drugs'. Apart from the CBI and ED, the Narcotic Control Bureau has also stepped-in and filed a case against Rhea and others. Not only that but the NCB would soon be taking Rhea's blood samples as well to ascertain the drugs angle.

The absence of 'time of death' in Sushant Singh Rajput's autopsy report had raised a lot of questions and when the CBI took over the case from the Mumbai Police, they took help from AIIMS forensic team. Talking to Times Now, AIIMS forensic chief Sudhir Gupta has claimed about discrepancies in the post mortem report. He also suggested that the police should have taken the second opinion and has submitted his suspicions to the CBI. Meanwhile, the CBI officials were snapped at the Cooper Hospital on multiple occasions and they quizzed the doctors, who conducted the autopsy.

The CBI has been questioning people present in the house when Sushant was found dead. Meanwhile, during the interrogation, SSR's flatmate Siddharth Pithani was reported to have confessed that Rhea destroyed nearly 8 hard drives on 8th June before leaving Sushant's flat, as reported by Times Now. Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau is also reported to test Rhea's blood samples to ascertain the drugs angle which has cropped up.

One of the most shocking revelations in Sushant's mysterious demise came when the Whatsapp chat of Rhea and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt were accessed by Times Now. Mahesh and Rhea's chat on June 8th suggests that she had informed the filmmaker of the fact that she was leaving Sushant as her father was unhappy with their relationship. While the content of the chat also suggested Mahesh Bhatt of advising and backing Rhea's decision of moving on in life. On the other hand, Rhea also goes on to address Mahesh Bhatt as her angel in the chats.

With new claims and allegations cropping up every day, Times Now had reported that the CBI team has found procedural lapses in the probe which was conducted by the Mumbai Police. From the crime scene sanctity being compromised to the late actor’s body not being handled properly by the investigating team, the CBI has termed these as a procedural lapse in the case.
