'Sushant had been diagnosed as suffering from Biopolar Disorder'

Rhea Chakraborty recorded her statement before the Mumbai police on Monday, with regards to the FIR she had filed against his sisters for bogus prescription. In her statement the actress had revealed that she began dating Sushant post April 2019 and during their relationship she came to know that Sushant was undergoing treatment for several mental health issues. “During the course of my relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput, he had been undergoing treatment for various mental health issues and had been diagnosed as suffering from Biopolar Disorder and severe depression and anxiety by multiple renowned doctors. However Sushant was not disciplined in respect of his treatment and would often abruptly stop his medication to the dismay of his doctors and myself,” Rhea had recorded her in her statement.

'Sushant consumed drugs even on the sets of Kedarnath'

Rhea had reportedly mentioned earlier that Sushant Singh Rajput would consume drugs on the sets of his film ‘Kedarnath’. Her lawyer, advocate Satish Maneshinde, had also made the revelations and stated, “Sushant Singh Rajput as a matter of fact was consuming drugs much before Rhea came in his life. Rhea knows that he was consuming drugs even on the sets of ‘Kedarnath’ when it was being shot in 2016-2017. It is not an addiction that he acquired after Rhea came in his life. He was consuming drugs even against medical advice.”

'Sushant kept calling his family, requesting them to meet him'

Rhea Chakraborty had left Sushant Singh Rajput’s house on June 8, post which the late actor’s sister Mitu Singh had resided with him for a few days. Echoing Rhea’s narrative of the incidents of June 8, her lawyer Satish Manshinde had stated, “Sushant had been calling his family, informing them of his decision to move out of Mumbai and requesting them to come meet him. After several days of Sushant calling and crying over the phone, his sister Meethu agreed to come live with him on 8th of June 2020. Due to this development, Sushant requested Rhea to live with her parents for the time being. Rhea had been suffering from her own anxiety issues and often endured panic attacks. Sushant’s conduct also aggravated these conditions. Even though Rhea was desirous of seeing her family, she was not at all comfortable with leaving Sushant. The very same day,8th June 2020, Rhea had arranged to have a therapy session of her own with Dr. Susan Walker and requested Sushant if she could leave after the session. However, Sushant told her to leave immediately before his sister Meethu arrived. Thus Rhea reluctantly left and informed Sushant to let her or her brother know about anything he required or in case he needed to talk.”
