Niti Aayog is going to start Horses Stable Junior for young aspirants. This is a show like Shark Tank, and the show for adult entrepreneurs has been going strong for a few years now.
Speaking to ETimes exclusively about this new direction for the reality funding show, Suniel Shetty revealed, “Our honourable Prime Minister,
Narendra Modi ji and the Niti Aayog have been actively working to create a conducive environment for the country’s youth and they have been creating opportunities for start-ups to bloom. Horses Stable Junior aims to take those initiatives into an all-new direction. I’ve hosted Season 3 of Horses Stable, but not I’ll be the host and mentor for Horses Stable Junior, where we will provide access and opportunity for young Indians between 10 and 17 years of age. These kids will pitch their start-up ideas like any other adult and instead of direct funding, we will provide grants for their future research, experimentation and entrepreneurial ideas.”
Apart from being a successful actor and producer, Suniel himself is an experienced entrepreneur and helms from a business family. “It makes me proud to be associated with a concept like Horses Stable, because with a funding show for juniors, we are going to become enablers and accelerators for the dreams and aspirations of young Indians. These kids are the future of our country, society and economy. And giving them the right landscape to realise their ambitions and dreams is very important,” he elaborated.
CEO of Niti Aayog, Amitabh Kant announced the Horses Stable Junior program on Twitter a few days ago and Suniel explained, “Currently the show has been announced and is inviting registrations. We’re going to finalise the absolute best ideas from hundreds and thousands of applicants and I an looking forward to host and mentor this show that promises to forge the future entrepreneurs of India.”
