Sreeleela's renumeration for 'Pushpa 2' item song revealed; Is way lower than Samantha's 'Oo Antava'

Actress Sreeleela is set to make a special appearance in the highly anticipated sequel 'Pushpa 2', starring Allu Arjun. Her item number is expected to bring a fresh burst of energy and excitement to the film. According to reports in Oneindia, Sreeleela is said to be paid Rs 2 crore for her appearance in the movie. However, this amount is relatively modest compared to her fee for another major film, 'Guntur Kaaram', where she is reportedly earning a hefty Rs 4 crore for a more prominent role.

When comparing Sreeleela's remuneration to that of her contemporaries, her pay for 'Pushpa 2' stands out as particularly low. In 'Pushpa' Part 1, Samantha Ruth Prabhu appeared in the popular item song 'Oo Antava', for which she was reportedly paid Rs 5 crore. Samantha’s electrifying performance became one of the movie's major highlights. By contrast, Sreeleela's payment of Rs 2 crore for 'Pushpa 2' is 60% less than what Samantha received.

There were also rumors that Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor was initially approached for the item song but demanded Rs 5 crore. As a result, she was dropped, and Sreeleela was finalized for the role. This decision has sparked mixed reactions from fans. Some are unhappy with the casting choice, likely due to Sreeleela's relatively lower popularity compared to other stars, while others are excited about her involvement.

The excitement around Sreeleela’s casting has only grown following the release of a behind-the-scenes photo featuring her and Allu Arjun. In the picture, Allu Arjun can be seen wearing his signature orange costume, while Sreeleela dons a black ornamented top paired with a long skirt.
