Sooraj Pancholi was recently seen in ‘Kesari Veer’, which released in May this year. The historical drama told the story of unsung warriors who fought bravely to defend the Somnath temple from invading forces. The film also starred Suniel Shetty as the fearless Vegda Ji, debutant Akanksha Sharma as the strong and fiery Rajal, and Vivek Oberoi as the main antagonist, Zafar. Despite its impressive cast and patriotic theme, ‘Kesari Veer’ received a mixed response and could not make a lasting impact at the box office.
