The actor recently essayed the role of Vikram Batra in his last film, ‘Shershaah’ for which he has been receiving positive reviews from both the audience and the critics alike.
The role of Vikram Batra is close to Siddharth as his grandfather had also served in the Indian Army. Siddharth told ANI, "I would have chosen to be in the Indian Army just like my grandfather who served the nation and fought in the India-China war in 1962."
Elaborating further, he added, “"For me, there is so much I have learned through this film, though I have experienced a bit of the Army through my grandfather, but here to really dive deep into the details of it, it is the Army etiquette, the discipline."
The film also starred his rumoured girlfriend
Kiara Advani in the lead role. She played the role of
Dimple Cheena
in the film.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sidharth will next be seen in ‘Mission Majnu’ alongside South superstar Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role.
