Shweta Tripathi on her Masaan co-star Vicky Kaushal remaining the same after much success in his career: 'He never blows his own trumpet'

In a chat with Filmygyan, Tripathi spoke about Kaushal's grounded personality despite his meteoric rise to stardom. She revealed that he has remained the same whenever she has interacted with him. Shweta mentioned one of her discussions with her husband about how working with good people helps one learn a lot of things in life. She called Vicky a humble person who never boasts about his success and remains genuinely kind. The actress concluded that Vicky never blows his own trumpet even after tasting a lot of success in his career.


Recently, the actress touched upon the pressing issue of pay parity in the industry. Speaking to India Today, she confirmed the existence of gender pay disparity and emphasized that this issue extends beyond the film industry, affecting various sectors. She highlighted the importance of addressing this imbalance to bring about meaningful change.

Reflecting on her early career experiences, Shweta recounted her willingness to compromise on the size of her vanity van. However, she soon realized that accepting smaller accommodations compared to her male counterparts could set a detrimental precedent.

On the work front, Shweta was last seen in ‘Mirzapur Season 3’, where her portrayal of Golu garnered critical acclaim and won the hearts of many fans.
