Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’s new song celebrates romance

The actor-singer says, “Mere Liye Tum Kafi Ho is conversational and at the same time, takes the narrative forward. It brings out the chemistry between the two boys.”
He adds, “This is just another love song between two people, and that could be between two men, two women or a man and a woman. There is no difference, because the idea is to break stereotypes and normalise it as much as possible.”
Talking about lending his voice to this track, he adds, “By default, I sing one song in the soundtrack of my films, because I love to sing. Besides, when you are lending your voice to your character, it sounds more credible and believable. For me, the criteria to choose a song — whether it is in Hindi, Punjabi or any other language — is that it should connect with me. I have a certain voice texture that goes well with soft romantic numbers. I love singing Punjabi songs, but lately, most of my songs have been Hindi or Urdu, including Ik Mulaqaat from 'Article 15' and now, this one.”
The film directed by Hitesh Kewalya also features Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao, among others.

' are all set to release their new romantic track just in time for the special day. Titled Mere Liye Tum Kafi Ho, the soulful number is picturised on the lead couple in the film — Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar. The track, which releases tomorrow, has been composed by Tanishq Bagchi and Vayu, and sung by Ayushmann.IPL 2025 Mega Auction
