Shraddha Kapoor down with viral fever: Exclusive

Shraddha Kapoor, whose latest release Stree 2 is currently dominating the box office, has been missing in action because of health issues. The film has already made history by becoming the 7th biggest Hindi film of all time, raking in an impressive Rs 386 crore in India. However, despite the film's tremendous success, the actress has been noticeably absent from the public eye, following a brief appearance at the success party held shortly after the film's release.


While the rest of the Stree 2 team, including director Amar Kaushik and actors Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurrana, have been engaging with the media and celebrating the film's achievements, Shraddha has been missing from these. As per an exclusive update with ETimes, the reason for her absence is viral fever.

A source close to the actress revealed that Shraddha's hectic schedule of back-to-back promotions for Stree 2 across various cities took a toll on her health. The demanding workload led to her falling ill, soon after the success party. She has since been resting and recovering at home, under the care and supervision of her family.

Although her absence has been noted during this crucial time, Shraddha is expected to make a full recovery soon, and will likely return to promote the film once she feels better. Fans of the actress are eagerly awaiting her return to the spotlight, as Stree 2 continues to break records and dominate the box office.

Stree 2's writer Niren Bhatt in an interview revealed they are exploring a story of Shraddha as Stree's daughter, hence they didn't reveal her name.
