Shekhar Suman wants to interview PM Narendra Modi on his TV show: Despite facing criticism, he has not given up

Shekhar Suman is currently riding high on the success of his debut OTT series 'Heeramandi', wherein he was directed by maverick filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Pleased with the response, the seasoned actor is now gearing up to revive his iconic series from the 90s, 'Movers & Shakers'. This late night talk show was a huge hit and featured several celebrity guests. For the newest season, Shekhar Suman is eyeing Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Speaking about his choice, Shekhar Suman told Pinkvilla that he is 200 percent keen to interview 'Modi Shahab' and added, that he wants to interview him in a totally different manner. He stated that it will be one of his own memorable interviews as well as one of the best interviews of PM too. Shekhar Suman further added that the Modi has a lot of layers to his personality and stressed on his journey, "he has faced criticism but still he fought all thunderstorms and raced ahead, which is not easy."

The actor further added, "Yeh kisiko criticise kar dena toh bohot aasan hai. Ek akela insaan pure opposition ko jhelte hue, criticism ko jhetle hue, 150 crore logo ke alag alag soch, zarurato ko sambhalte hue aage badhna asaan nehi hai. It is not possible to change the destiny of the country in 10 years, it takes time and an era. Atleast he has made a start and things are in motion right now."
