Shah Rukh Khan is embracing his gangster side, with the grey hair and cool tattoos. The actor, who is currently working on his next big action flick, was spotted at a dubbing studio in Mumbai, sporting prominent neck tattoos, that fans got a close glimpse of while he exited the studio.

Still trying his best to avoid being photographed, the actor was seen heading out of the recording studio behind the cover of an umbrella, with his security team trying their best to keep the photographers at bay. Khan emerged in a tee, baggy pants and a beanie as he made his way to his car. Photos and videos circulating on social media gave fans a closer look at his tattoos running up the side of his neck and another visible beneath his skull.

The sighting has fuelled buzz that an update on the movie 'King' is just around the corner. Since dropping the first look of the film on Khan's birthday, the makers have not yet released any new material. With both director Siddharth Anand and Khan busy at work on the film, fans wondered if the team would drop something new around New Year's day. While there is no new trailer or release date update just yet, rumours are rife that the film may be eyeing a September release.

Can 'King' hit Rs 1000 crore mark

While details about 'King' remain tightly under wraps, the film is already among the most anticipated projects of the year. The film will follow Khan’s recent box-office successes with 'Jawan' and 'Pathaan', both of which scored Rs 1000 crore at the box office. Should 'King' also make it to the Rs 1000 crore mark, it would make Shah Rukh the first actor with three Rs 1,000 crore movies to his name.
