Actor-director
Satish Kaushik recently remembered
Rishi Kapoor on his second
death anniversary
on April 30. He shared his experience of working with the late actor in his last film, ‘
Sharmaji Namkeen
’.
In an interview with a news portal, Satish said that Rishi and he shared a warm relationship and he had a great time working with the late actor. Kaushik also recalled that when Rishi directed his first film, ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen’, he was a part of that.
Elaborating further, the veteran star revealed that he was very happy because when Rishi came back from his treatment, he was absolutely fit and fine. However, the happiness didn’t last long as the actor passed away soon after that.
After his sudden demise, Rishi Kapoor’s role in the film was taken ahead by none other than Paresh Rawal. Talking about the same, Satish reportedly said that to play the same role as another actor, it was great of Paresh Rawal to accept that challenge. He also added that the film is going to be special because it is Rishi Kapoor's last film and he had the honour of performing with him in his last film.
‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ also starred
Juhi Chawla and others in key roles. The film was released on an OTT platform and received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
