In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Sanjay Dutt has spilled his birthday plans among several other things. In his younger days, Dutt’s birthdays were grand, star-studded events. However, his celebrations have since become more intimate, focusing on quality family time. Reflecting on his journey, Dutt expressed gratitude for the ongoing support and plans to mark another year with a simple, cozy evening with loved ones.



The actor also plans to connect with his fans and spend quality time with them on social media. Known for his love of food, Sanjay Dutt shared that cuisine plays a significant role in his life. He fondly recalled his mother's home-cooked rogan josh and shami kebab as his ultimate comfort foods.




In the same conversation, Sanjay Dutt reflected on the iconic Chicken Sanju Baba dish named after him, calling it a flattering tribute. He noted that while the dish is available at Noor Mohammadi Hotel on Mohammed Ali Rd in Mumbai, the real praise goes to the chefs who created it. Dutt expressed his pride in being part of Mumbai's vibrant food scene.



In 2020, the actor was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, prompting him to closely monitor his diet. Since then, he has focused on eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins while maintaining regular exercise. However, he admitted that he occasionally indulges in a tempting plate of butter chicken. Dutt emphasized that his approach to diet is more about moderation and tuning into his body's needs rather than following any strict regimen.



Sanjay Dutt, the son of the legendary Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt, faced a significant loss when his mother passed away in 1981 from pancreatic cancer, just days before his debut film's release. His Instagram is a tribute to her memory, filled with heartfelt posts about missing his mother.
