More specifically star homes. The most popular remain Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat, Salman’s flat at Galaxy Apartments and Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa at Juhu.
Instead of the stars, however, most tourists have to make do with an encounter with the security guards.We discovered this while ambling along with an out-of-town friend and promptly, for your edification, decided to conduct a mini survey. Here are the results:

A: “Out shooting.”(Not true).
Q. Is your star a generous man?
A. “Food is always free and saab is generous to a fault. He tips us Rs 500 or Rs 1,000 every now and then. Just yesterday, he gave me Rs 1,000 on his way out.”

Guard: Refused to reveal his name
Q: Where is Shah Rukh?
A: “In London.” (Not true, he was in Mumbai)
Q: Is your star a generous man?
A: “Look at the size of this bungalow and his star status and then imagine the kind of money he gives us.”
Amitabh Bachchan
Guard: Nilesh at Jalsa and Jaishankar Tiwari at Prateeksha
Q: Where are the Bachchans?
A: "Out shooting."
Q: “All three?”
A: “All three.” (Not true)
Q: Is your star a generous man?
Nilesh, who’s been working with the Bachchans for two years, got Rs 5,000 last Diwali while the more senior Jaishankar got Rs 10,000.
