South superstar Prabhas became a household name after the stupendous success of ‘Baahubali’ series. The actor, who is a force to reckon with, enjoys a huge fan following across the nation. While the actor earned fame as Prabhas, few know that his real name is Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati. Yes, you read it right! Mostly because of the length and the complexity of its pronunciation, the actor kept it short and sweet as Prabhas. The young Rebel Star of Tollywood is also lovingly referred to as ‘Darling’ by his fans. Prabhas too addresses his fans by the same name. The actor was an engineering student and studied at DNR School in Bhimavaram. Prabhas completed his intermediate education from Sri Chaitanya Jr College in Hyderabad. If not acting in films, Prabhas had once revealed that he would have been an hotelier. A self-confessed foodie, he loves butter chicken and biryani. Food business was a dream job for Prabhas.

Prabhas has silently donated to several causes, without harping about his deeds. Reports suggest that the actor donates lakhs of rupees towards charity. One instance of his generous act occurred when he visited a blind school in Nalgonda and reportedly contributed Rs 10 lakh for their welfare.
