'RRR', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi': Revised release dates of upcoming Bollywood films

2022 is a very hopeful year for the Hindi film industry. In January, we saw films getting postponed indefinitely due to the new COVID-19 variants. However, the film industry is slowly getting back on track in many areas. And we are praying that this trend continues. Every dark cloud has its silver lining, and now makers have been announcing the revised release dates. Take a look:

Prabhas and Pooja Hegde's 'Radhe Shyam', will now release theatrically on March 11, 2022. Sharing a new poster, Prabhas announced the new release date and wrote, "11.03.22. I'll see you. RadheShyamOnMarch11." The film was slated to release on January 14 but the release date had to be pushed due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

Alia Bhatt starrer 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' is making its way to release on February 25. Sanjay Leela Bhansali had decided January 6, 2022, as the release date, but later he announced that the film will release on 18 February 2022. The film also stars Seema Pahwa and has cameo appearances by Ajay Devgn and Huma Qureshi.

SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' got a new release date and fans can't keep calm. The film which was pushed many times due to COVID-19 restrictions will now release on March 25, 2022. The film stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn will be seen in a cameo role. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

Nagraj Manjule's 'Jhund' starring Amitabh Bachchan will hit the theatres on March 4, 2022. Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter handle and shared a fresh poster of the film. He tweeted, ''T 4178 - Iss toli se muqaabla karne ke liye raho taiyaar! Humari team aa rahi hai Goal net #Jhund releasing on 4th Mar 2022 in cinemas near you.'

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's horror-comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' has postponed its March release. The film will now open in cinema halls on May 20. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film was initially gearing up to open in cinema halls on March 25, a date which has now been booked by SS Rajamouli's much-awaited 'RRR'.
