Rekha has been the charmer of Bollywood, from taking up roles that broke the stereotype to mesmerizing the audience with her beauty, she was one the best actors of her time. Born in Chennai, Rekha began with modest roles in the late '60s but emerged as a Bollywood fashion and performance icon in the '70s. Hema Malini

She has earned the title of Bollywood's 'dream girl' for a good reason. A magnetic beauty and an energetic performer, she was the unquestionable queen of her day. Even though she was born in Tamil Nadu, Hema Malini became the consummate Bollywood star of the '70s. Vyjayanthimala

Although her Bollywood prime was in the 50s and 60s, Vyjayanthimala continued to shine in the early 70s with films like 'Ganwaar'. An actress who was also an excellent classical dancer became a pathway of inspiration for many emerging actors. Regarded as one of Hindi cinema's finest actresses and dancers, she is the recipient of several accolades, including four Filmfare Awards and two BFJA Awards.

Padmini
