Ranveer and Deepika made headlines last month when words got around that they bought a plot in the coastal area and that it houses two bungalows and a coconut and betel nut grove. The couple reportedly sealed the deal at the local registrar’s office and wrapped up the pending paperwork.

The couple reportedly shelled out Rs 22 crore for the plush property and paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.32 crore. This latest purchase is dubbed as their 'dream home'. While reports suggest they were looking for a plush city flat, it looks like DeepVeer settled for something more homely by the sea.

Deepika and Ranveer are now the latest stars moving into the quaint Alibaug neighbourhood. Fellow B-town besties Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma also have plush pads in and around the coastal district. Besides hunting for homes, several stars have also been spotted filming portions of their films in Alibaug after the government eased covid-19 lockdown restrictions and allowed filmmakers to resume shoots with smaller crews.
