‘Ramayana’: Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash starrer's NEW 3D teaser to be shown in theatres with James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ - Reports
Fans of Indian cinema are in for a thrilling treat this December. The 3D teaser of ‘Ramayana’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, will make its first theatrical appearance alongside James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’. Audiences will get a sneak peek of one of India’s most ambitious films before its full release.
As per reports, the teaser features stunning visuals created by DNEG, the eight-time Oscar-winning visual effects studio. The same team worked on the first glimpse released in July, which wowed fans with its scale and detail.
Speaking further, Kapoor added, “It is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It has two parts. I have finished the shooting of Part 1 and will shoot Part 2 soon. Just to be a part of that story, I am so humbled to essay Ram’s role. It’s a dream for me. It’s a film that has everything. It teaches what Indian culture is about, family dynamics and husband-wife dynamics. So I'm very very excited about that."

Teaser to be shown with ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’
As reported by OTT Play, the 3D teaser of ‘Ramayana’ will be screened in theatres alongside James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’. Fans attending ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ will get a special surprise, a chance to see the teaser on the big screen before anyone else. When Ranbir Kapoor shared excitement about his role as Lord Ram
Ranbir Kapoor had earlier shared his excitement about the project at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah in 2024. He said, “I am currently working on a film called ‘Ramayan’, which is India's greatest story. It's being produced by Namit Malhotra... It's got artists, creators and different crew members from all around the world. It's made over two parts. It's the story of Lord Ram and Raavan and it's India's greatest story. And to say it to this new generation with the kind of technology that we have it's a very exciting and very gratifying opportunity for me as an actor, especially to play the part of Lord Ram."Speaking further, Kapoor added, “It is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Star-studded cast of ‘Ramayana’
The film features a stellar cast. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi essays Sita, and Yash takes on the role of Ravana. Sunny Deol will appear as Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey will portray Lakshman.
