Rajdeep Choudhury loves heading to Spain. Here’s why…

Actor Rajdeep Choudhury is currently in one of the most scenic places – his private villa that’s located on a lovely Spanish island. The

actor

loves escaping to his Spanish home where he gets a chance to relax and maintain his

fitness

regimen. He also enjoys learning about the

culture

, food and language of the people there.

Says Rajdeep, “Yes, I have been taking up a few lessons in Spanish. I think knowing at least some part of the language of a place is very important when you are in a foreign land as it helps you to fit in more with the local people. It’s always lovely to spend time in Spain. The Spaniards extremely laid-back, friendly with strong family ties just like Indian culture. I make it a point to have Spanish food; I love it for its spice, colour, flavours and it has that certain ‘oomph’ just like their dance, music and lifestyle. In fact, Spain has quite a few parallels with India!”

His plan was to train and prepare there for his next film. He adds, “However, the

quarantine

and

lockdowns

have certainly put paid to these plans at the moment.” Rajdeep does shares scenic glimpses on his Instagram account of his home, surrounded by the blue and green waters of the

Atlantic Ocean

. “You can spot whales and dolphins each day and it has also now become a go-to place for my close friends and family on their special occasions,” he laughs.
