Priyanka Chopra pens an emotional note as she mourns the loss of legendary actor Dilip Kumar

Bollywood’s legendary actor Dilip Kumar breathed his last today. The thespian passed away early this morning and has left the entire film fraternity with a deep void. Having said that, the entire B’Town has been mourning his demise, and remembering the superstar with throwback pictures and emotional words. Priyanka Chopra is one among the many actors, to share a heartfelt note about her fond memories with Dilip Saab.

Sharing a series of throwback pictures and a glimpse from of Dilip ji from the iconic film ‘Saudagar’, the ‘The Sky Is Pink’ actress went to write, "हक़ हमेशा सर झुका के नहीं...सर उठा के मांगा जाता है|" - सौदागर

यूसुफ साहब ने ज़िन्दगी सर उठा के जी है| उनसे मिलने का मौका बहुत कम लोगों को मिला था, लेकिन उनमे से एक खुशनसीब मैं हूँ| जबसे मैंने सायरा जी और यूसुफ साहब को जाना है मुझे उनसे सिर्फ और सिर्फ प्यार और दुआऐं मिली है| उनसे मिलना, कुछ हलकी बातें करना, मैं अपनी ज़िन्दगी के कुछ सबसे हसीन पलों में गिनती हूँ|”

She also added, “Yusuf Saab's contribution to the Arts is invaluable and irreplaceable. Today the curtains have come down on one of India’s greatest. An end of an era. My condolences to Saira ma’am and the family. Rest in peace”
Meanwhile, the 98-year-old thespian was laid to rest with full state honours at Juhu Qabrastan around 4:30 pm on July 7.
