Priyanka Chopra has been self-quarantined at home with her husband Nick Jonas and family due to the coronavirus pandemic and

lockdown

. The actress, who is currently away from India, spoke about her experience in

quarantine

so far in a live event she attended.
Talking about the same, she said that quarantine has been humbling for her. According to her, reading reports of how people in India are dying of hunger and not just COVID-19 made her realise how much of a privileged position she has. She also acknowledged that she has the ability to stay with her family and her husband at her house.


Further, she went on to talk about the contribution of the medical fraternity in humanity’s fight against this pandemic. She said that being a child of doctor parents, she is in awe of everything that the medical community is doing to fight the pandemic. She also shared the story of nurse Emily Langlois from the US who had to join back the workforce just a week after giving birth to her daughter. Emily grew emotional talking about social distancing from her newborn daughter and missing out on all her early milestones.


Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka was last seen in Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’ co-starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in lead roles. The movie received positive reviews from the audience and critics alike.
