Sunny Deol and Anil Sharma begin prep work of 'Gadar 2'
After dropping the motion poster of 'Gadar 2', Sunny Deol, Anil Sharma and others have commenced the prep work for the much-awaited sequel. Recently, Deol took to his Instagram handle to share a series of pictures from Manali as his team met for the film's script narration.

'Gadar 2' motion poster
A few days back, the makers took to their social media to announce the release date of 'Gadar 2'. "After two decades the wait is finally over! On the auspicious day of Dusshera, presenting to you the motion poster of #Gadar2. The Katha Continues...," Deol wrote. Deol will once again collaborate with filmmaker Anil Sharma and actor Ameesha Patel.

Dharmendra was offered a similar film to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha
In a recent Interaction with Bombay Times, Deol opened up about Anil Sharma. He said, “Few people would know this. There’s a real-life love story of Boota Singh which became the thread of our story back then. Of course, we went way beyond it. When Sharmaji (Anil Sharma) had first told me about Gadar...I had told him that Papa was offered a film similar to it. Unfortunately or fortunately, that film never got made. Boota Singh’s love story inspired us but we gave it our own spin. Our film went much further.''

20 years of Sunny Deol
A few days back, Sunny Deol completed 20 years in Bollywood and recalled fond memories of shooting for the 2001 movie 'Indian', which was produced by Dharmendra. "Working with dad is always an enriching experience, there is always something new to learn from him, till date. I remember him being so passionate about the project and I'm so glad that the film completes 20 years today. As I look back, there are some really beautiful memories that come back to me," Sunny Deol had told IANS.
