Post the super success of Baahubali series, Prabhas has cemented his status as a legit superstar. His stardom is not limited to just Telugu speaking audiences, or India. He has fans across India, and also has a huge fan base in North America. USA has become a huge market for Telugu films in recent times, as it has become the 11th most spoken language in the country. Among the highest grossing Indian films in North America, the top 2 spots have been taken by Prabhas with Baahuali 2- The Conclusion and Kalki 2898 AD
Prabhas is going to turn a year older on 23rd October, and to mark this occasion, his film Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel is going to re-release in theaters in the USA. Salaar is the 11th highest grossing Indian film in the circuit.
At this point, the film has sold just 85 tickets from the 74 locations, in which advance booking has opened. But given Prabhas’ fandom, one can expect the film to get good numbers by the release day.
Prabhas is currently tied up with the shoot of Raja Saab with Malavika Mohanan and Sai Pallavi, the film is directed by Maruthi Dasari and will be releasing in April 2025. Post that, he will team up with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Spirit where he plays a cop.
