Riding high on the success of Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas has now topped the list of India's most popular male film stars, surpassing icons like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Allu Arjun.
On Wednesday, Ormax unveiled its "Ormax Stars India Loves: Most Popular Male Film Stars in India (Oct 2024)" list, with Prabhas claiming the top spot. Actor Vijay secured the second position.
Shah Rukh Khan, who recently returned to the big screen, took third place on the list, with Jr NTR and Ajith Kumar following in fourth and fifth.
Allu Arjun, who will soon star in Pushpa 2: The Rule, ranks sixth on the list. Mahesh Babu follows at seventh, Suriya is eighth, and Ram Charan is ninth. Salman Khan, who hasn't had a release since Tiger 3 in 2023, rounds out the top 10 in the tenth spot.
The list was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter. Prabhas' fans, from various regions and languages, celebrated his achievement and flooded the comment section with their excitement and praise.
While one fan wrote, 'Rebel star prabhas (star emoji)', another one added, 'Number one Prabhas Raaju'. A fan also commented, 'Prabhas the rebelwood'.
Prabhas was last seen in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD, alongside Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. The film grossed over Rs 1000 crore worldwide.
