Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan compete to help pregnant Deepika Padukone step down from the stage during 'Kalki 2898 AD ' pre-release event

Everyone is eagerly awaiting the release of the Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ and the makers have brought all these big names on stage for the pre-release event today in Mumbai. The event is grabbing attention, where Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan had a funny fight to hold pregnant Deepika’s hand to help her get down from the stage.



At the pre-release event, mom-to-be Deepika Padukone entered the stage flaunting her baby bump in a body-hugging dress.The host, actor Rana Daggubati, teased Deepika with a question, “You are still in character?” Deepika is playing a pregnant woman in ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ and she soon replied, “Of course, the movie went on for three years, so I thought, why not for a few months more?” Rana added that Nagi pushed her to be a method actor, to which Deepika agreed with a smile.

After her entry, Deepika was about to step down from the stage when Prabhas stepped in to help her, gently holding her hands. Soon, Amitabh Bachchan joined in, grabbing Prabhas’s shoulders and playfully insisting that he also wanted to assist Deepika. This made Prabhas and Deepika burst into laughter, and Prabhas folded his hands in a gesture of respect towards Bachchan. The humorous moment delighted the audience.

Later, when everyone was invited back to the stage for a chat, Bachchan humorously warned Prabhas not to help Deepika up the steps and grabbed her hands himself. This playful interaction made everyone laugh again.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, 'Kalki 2898 AD’ will hit theatres on June 27. The movie features Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone in the main roles.
