On marriage anniversary, Dia Mirza shares a glimpse of her emotional wedding ceremony and Marathi vows
Dia Mirza marked her second wedding anniversary with a priceless video from her marriage ceremony. The actress shared unseen glimpses of her wedding vows, marriage rituals and engagement ceremony.
In the video, Vaibhav is seen giving an inspirational speech while Dia looked at him lovingly. From exchanging rings to Vaibhav saying his wedding vows in English, the clip was packed with emotional moments. Dia Mirza was also seen attempting to say the wedding vows in Marathi with some prompts. “Happy Anniversary Husband ❤️ Thank you for giving me the greatest gift of all time—eternal love and our beautiful children Sitaaron ke aage jahaan aur bhi hai; Humare ishq mein imtihaan aur bhi hai... Abhi tho naapi hai muthi bhar zameen; Aage aasman aur bhi hai,” Dia had captioned the video.
Dia Mirza tied the knot with Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15, 2021. The couple had a low key and a sustainable wedding at Dia’s Mumbai residence. Soon after, the couple welcomed their first child on May 14, 2021. Speaking about motherhood, Dia had previously told ETimes, “Children are truly the best teachers for adults as they bring with them a totally pure world view. Avyaan has taught me mindfulness, joy and resilience and just one smile from him can melt all my cares away. I feel even more responsible as a professional now because I want to create a better world for him to grow up in, with my voice and my work. Samaira is such a lovely big sister and I learn a lot from her refreshing worldview as well.”
