Okka Magaadu rakes in the moolah

YVS Chowdary, producer-director of the much-hyped film claims that the first day collections stood at a staggering Rs 7 crore. The film was released in about 500 theatres all over the state, with 150 in Nizam, 40 in Vizag and 80 in ceded areas.YVS said that several theatres started showing the film right from the midnight of January 10th and continued to screen record number of shows. Reports say the film witnessed unprecedented black-marketing of tickets costing around Rs 500 to 1,000 per ticket. In Anantapur, a hardcore fan purchased a single ticket for Rs 45,000. Well, only time will tell if the film continues its bull run in the future.
