A sequence of the film Kapat was to be shot in Bhangarh, but because of the strict guidelines of wrapping up the shoot at 5pm, it's been cancelled.
Bollywood newbie Bhowmik Sampat is currently shooting for the film Kapat in town, and while the unit was supposed to shoot a sequence in Bhangarh as well, that plan has been cancelled. Bhowmik is delighted, because the last time he was there in March, he had a few strange experiences.

He explains, “First of all, the town is pretty far from Jaipur. And since it's an abandoned village, we can't stay there. Going to the spot after travelling for almost 100km every day and then coming back is just not feasible. It takes too much time. Also, due to strict guidelines by the department, no one can stay there after 5pm. So even if you want to shoot late in the evening, you have no choice but to wrap up early .“

The town is famous as one of the most haunted places in the country , and Sampat also finds the place a bit scary . “You don't really see anything that can be defined as scary, but there is something that you can feel. I felt something unusual when I visited the place last time,“ he says.Sampat spent almost a month in Jaipur shooting for Kapat, being directed by Milind Sagar, and during a three-day schedule in Bhangarh, had some spooky experiences.
Jaipur is an integral part of the story of the film, which is slated to be released in March 2015. “On Monday , we shot at a Jaipur mall and coffee shop. And yesterday we shot a song sequence at a heritage hotel in the city. Jaipur has so many beautiful locations,“ he says.Milind also wanted to shoot the song sequence at the Sambhar Lake, but that also didn't materialize. Adds Sampat, “Due to the sudden rain last week, we had to cancel that shoot. Milind wanted to picturise the song at the lake, which is the largest salt lake of our country and offers a beautiful view, but now we'll just shoot this particular sequence in Mumbai.“
